Found In Translation: The Puma Swede Interview

PUma SwedePuma Swede is not your average adult film star.  For one, her cup size is a staggeringly natural 35G.  She’s also a native of Sweden .  At five foot ten, she cuts quite the blonde, blued eyed Amazonian figure.  And the first name of her adult nom de plume comes from the sports car (Ford Puma), not the cat or the shoe. She likes driving fast so much that she narrowly avoided getting a ticket by inviting the traffic cop to a film shoot. It worked. If you’d like to see just how above average she is and what sort of unusual things she does, you’re welcome to visit her official site at www.pumaswede.com. Ms. Swede was kind enough to lend me a half hour of her time over the phone a few weeks after her headliner appearance at Pharoah’s in Buffalo, New York. While she was driving. Her English was still a little broken and we had some difficulty comprehending each other, but eventually, we came to an understanding on several topics.

Tom: Now that you’ve live in America after moving from Sweden in 2004, what do you miss?

Puma: I think it’s like my friends and family.

Tom: Do you think the internet is replacing DVD as the frontrunner for adult film?

Puma: Yeah, I think so.  Give it a couple of years and I think it’s all gonna be online.

Tom: How many weeks do you feature in exotic clubs?

Puma: It’s different.  I took a break, ’cause the first time I wanted to do girl/girl movies, so I featured at maybe ten clubs, and then this year is the first time I released a bunch of boy/girl movies, so I featured at two clubs and I’m going to Canada now to feature, then to Kansas.  So four this year and hopefully more…

Tom: And your best club story?

I believe that kids are a lot smarter than we think they are. They understand a lot more and we try to hide things from them, like wrap it in a nice way. Just be straight with them, tell them, they’re gonna learn about vaginas and penises way before we know it, so, better that it come from home.  Be straight with the kids!

Puma: They’re so different, all the clubs…I’ve been to good clubs. I just have, like, weird stories. Oh, here’s a good one: There’s a guy that tipped me a thousand dollars on stage just in dollar bills, because he liked tall girls and I was the tallest one there.  There was just no room to dance on the stage because it was covered in dollar bills. And then after, I went up and said ’I just wanted to say thank you’ and he said ’You say that you’re five foot ten, but I don’t really believe you, but I like tall girls and you’re the tallest girl here’ and I said ’Do you wanna bet a hundred bucks that I’m five foot ten?’  He was like ’Yeah!’, so there were other people placing bets and we got out the measuring tape and measured it and I was five foot ten.  Thank you!  I thought it was kinda funny.

Tom: If you had to choose one, Abba, Ace Of Base, or The Cardigans?

Puma:  Abba.

Tom: How has the business changed since you got into it?

Puma: I haven’t really noticed any changes.  Of course, there’s me changing from soft core to girl/girl and then going more to boy/girl, so I haven’t noticed any change.

Tom: You look  a lot like my friend’s wife Colleen, who happens to be expecting.  Do you have any advice for their new child?

Puma: I don’t even have kids, so I can’t give any advice!  No, my sister has a kid who think is pretty cool.

Tom: Does Kelly Madison set up her threeway scenes with her husband, or did the three of you hang out, party and start filming once everyone loosened up?

Puma:  I’ve filmed with them twice and then we hang out.  They live kinda far off, but every time we film we hang out in Vegas and they’re so much fun.  I love them.  They’re great people.  We have so much fun!  I wrestle their makeup artist in the room and they’re just so mellow and totally down to earth, there’s like no drama or anything.  They’re such nice people.  I’m not a big fan of drama myself.  I can’t be around it.  Its like no, I’ll walk away.  They’re totally, really really cool.

Tom: How do your films sell in Sweden ?

Puma: I actually have no idea!  I don’t think they sell, I don’t know if a lot of my movies get to Sweden , but people download them and they find them online and somebody buys it and that movies goes around to everybody because Sweden is so small, but they like them.  A lot of people are like, ‘Oh, I didn’t know you had the 35Gs’.  I think they like them.

Tom:  After professing your fondness for ‘Thelma & Louise’, would you ever consider making a girl/girl adult version of the film?

Puma: Make it a porn movie?  Yeah, that’s a good idea!  Thanks for that one.  No, I’d like it!

Tom: My girlfriend also rides horse.  Do you still ride when you get the chance and what have you learned from horse riding that can be translated into the bedroom?

Puma: I’ve been horseback riding since I was 6 years old, but I don’t know if there’s a lot that I’ve learned from horseback riding that I’d take into the bedroom.  Probably how to use the whip.
